Awake Naps, the new album by Andrea Higgins, has just been released. It is a series of short movement lessons that can be used to deepen your experience of meditation, or to simply quiet your mind and relax your body. Based upon the teaching method developed by Moshe Feldenkrais, the lessons heighten kinesthetic awareness and deepen the feeling of mind body connection.
Join Andrea for a brief introductory talk about using movement as mantra, and then experience an Awake Nap for yourself, with a short lesson. There will be two sessions:
- Session 1: 3:30 to 4:00 pm
- Session 2: 4:30 to 5:00 pm
